Advent, Advent

Ich habe endlich meinen Anzug und die Kopie meiner Hose abholen können. Sieht super aus und passt perfekt. Ich werde demnächst mal Fotos davon machen und hochladen.
Am Samstag war ich morgens mit Qiu Ping und Angi nochmals kurz beim Schneider und anschließend auf einem kleinen Kunstmarkt auf dem Studenten und Schüler ihre Werke gezeigt und zum Verkauf angeboten haben. Wir hatten leider nicht allzu viel Zeit, da wir mittags mit ein paar Leuten zum Smolball spielen verabredet waren. Wir waren ca. 16 Leute und hatten eine Tennishalle zum spielen. Bei dem Spiel muss man mit Schlägern einen Ball in das Tor der Gegner befördern wobei man den Ball nicht mit der Hand berühren darf. Es war ziemlich lustig, aber danach hat mir meine Hand weh getan. Nachdem wir zuhause waren bin ich noch eine Runde laufen gegangen und später kam Angi um mit Claudi und mir Abendessen zu gehen. Nach dem Abendessen haben wir uns ein paar Videos von Willi Astor angeschaut und Tränen gelacht. Um kurz vor halb 11 ging es dann in eine Bar in der wir mit ein paar Leuten verabredet waren. Es war mal wieder ziemlich laut dort, wie immer wenn in China irgendwo Musik gespielt wird, also haben wir Würfelspiele gespielt und Zeichensprache verwendet. Es war mal wieder ziemlich spät bis ich ins Bett kam.
Heute mittag war ich zum essen eingeladen und hatte ich das erste richtige Vollkornbrot und einen richtigen Käsekuchen seit ich hier bin. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass mir Brot so gut schmecken kann. Ich hätte am liebsten was davon eingepackt. Außerdem gab es auf dem riesen Buffet Oliven, Feta, Salate, Asiatisches Essen, Sushi, amerikanisches und ganz viel Nachtisch.
Vorhin haben wir spontan unseren Tannenbaum aufgestellt und geschmückt. Ich weiß, etwas sehr früh, aber irgendwie muss man sich ja in Weihnachtsstimmung bringen. Jetzt sieht es bei uns richtig gemütlich aus.

I finally got my business suite from the tailor. Looks great and fits perfectly. I will try to make some pictures of it soon and upload them. On Saturday morning Qiu Ping, Angi and I went to the tailor again and afterwards we went to a small art market where some students sold their work. Unfortunately we had only limited time because we were supposed to meet some people to play Smolball. We were about 16 people and went to a tennis court to play the game there. In each team we had 4 players on the field, all trying to get a small ball in the goal of the other team by using a racket. It was quite funny but my hand hurt after the game. It also wasn’t as exhausting as everyone had told me so I went for a run afterwards. In the evening Angi came to have dinner with me and Claudia and later we planned to go clubbing. Because there was still some time left we watched some clips of a German comedian. We were all sitting on the couch with tears in our eyes because we laughed so much. At around 11 we went to this bar were we met some of the people who went with us to play Smolball. In the bar it was so loud that it wasn’t possible to have a decent conversation. It was quite late when I finally went to bed this night.

Today I was invited for lunch and I had my first whole wheat bread and a very good cheesecake since I am here in China. I would have never thought that normal bread can taste so great. They also had some other nice things like Olives, cheese, salat,….

Just now we finished decorating our apartment and the Christmas tree. I know, a little bit earlier than “normal” people but we had to do something to get in the Christmas mood. Now our apartment looks really comfortable.
